Review by N. Aldred @ Greenacre, Sydney December 2020.

This book is hard going but well worth the effort. It traces the history of Christianity through the ages and I think it is quite accurate. It shows the lengths people will go to maintain their power base over the rights of others. The main problem I have with this book is MS White’s overwhelming animosity toward the Church of Rome. At times it detracts from point she is trying to make.
